Im 19 years old and a mother of 2.....I was kicked out of my mothers house in 2008 due to becoming pregnant for a second time. I was worried about me and my 12mon old baby living at a shelter, so I quickly called the nearest based on income apartments to where I was. Thankfully I was accepted. I had no car, no money, and nobody to help me. I moved in the apartment, and quickly got my benifits from the government started. I was able to get 300 dollars in foodstamps, and 142 dollars a month to support me, mi child, mi bills, and other things I needed. Unfortionately 142 dollars could not pay everything that ineeded to be payed, I had a phone bill that ran me about 67 dollars a month, I purchased a 30 bus card every month, I purchased hygene products that ran me about 15 dollars, and the rest went on diapers for mi child. I had no money left at all for my light bill, so Im now in the whole a hole 400 dollars. it would be a blessing if someone could help me with my light bill. me and my children are currently living with a family member due to having no electricity. please help us!
